We have never worked with a travel agent before and so far the process has been great! Stacey with Dreams Unlimited answered my many, many questions and emails very quickly and thoroughly. It was great to have someone to bounce ideas off of and who could pull quotes for us. Using a travel agent for Disney is free for the consumer – they get paid commissions through Disney.

California 2020 Wrap-Up
Whew! That was a hell of a trip!
Love is An Open Door: Our 2018 Disneyland Trip
Adam couldn’t remember the last time he had been to Disneyland, so it was so much fun to take him around the park and show him my favorite spots. We were also going to be in Disney World in five-months time, so it was like warm-up for that and it definitely made us so excited for what awaited us in Florida. This was our first Disney trip as a couple and it definitely set the stage for a lifetime of Disney memories.
Disneyland 2020 – Day 3
As night crept in and we realized we were in our final few hours at one of our favorite places in the world, we wanted to get every last inch of Disney we could since we didn’t know when we would be returning.
Comparing Broadway’s Frozen the Musical to Frozen – Live at the Hyperion
In a fun turn of events, we happened to be in California Adventure the day after we had seen Broadway’s Frozen… Had it really been worth the cost of the tickets to go see Broadway’s version when we could see the same story at Disneyland? Spoiler alert: Yes.
California Adventure 2020
California Adventure is definitely worth a visit and worth more time than we spent there on this trip. Maybe next time we will go 4 days to Disneyland and really do it right! I am impressed that they continue to put resources into improving California Adventure. I have already seen a great amount of growth in the past 10 years and I can’t wait to see it’s continued transformation.
Galaxy’s Edge
About 2 minutes after we got off Rise of the Resistance, I booked myself an appointment to make a droid and Adam an appointment to build a Lightsaber. We were literally like, “Take all of our money, Disney!” They had invested so much into Rise of the Resistance, that we were willing to invest even more into Galaxy’s Edge. And boy was it worth it! We had such a blast that day and made a lot of special memories.
Review of Rise of the Resistance
We have no pictures of us anywhere near Rise of the Resistance because from the moment we walked into the queue, we were fully immersed. It is easily the best queue, the best ride, the best… everything we have ever experienced at a theme park. It is almost impossible to explain some of what makes this ride so special – you have to be able to feel how the trackless vehicles move in order to fully understand… there is just something about experiencing it all. But I will do my best to do this ride justice.
Review of Smuggler’s Run
Piloting the Millennium Falcon was easily the superior experience, even if it was stressful learning to fly a spaceship on the spot! One pilot controlled whether the Falcon went up or down, and the other pilot controlled if it went left or right. As a pilot, the simulator screen is right in front of you as you sore through the sky. The tension is crazy as you try to keep the ship afloat. You can crash the ship, so you actually need to try to fly it so you don’t ruin it for the other passengers.
2 Years of DINKyouverymuch – A Look Back at How It Started
We were sitting at the shuttle stop on the last day of our Disney World vacation, waiting for the bus that would take us from the Caribbean Beach Resort to Animal Kingdom. We were talking over all of our experiences we had just had – which park we liked most, which park we liked most, which restaurants were the best, if we would ever stay at Caribbean Beach Resort again.
Day 2 – Best Day EVER
One of our goals this trip was to enjoy the atmosphere Disney spends so much time, money, and effort curating. Disneyland can easily be a 1 or 2 day trip, but we decided to extend it into 3 so we wouldn’t feel the need to rush around and just hit the big attractions.
Disneyland 2020 – Day 1
“I can’t believe that yesterday I was at my office working and today I am standing in Disneyland.”
