2020 was obviously a rough year for everyone. We were coming up on October and I still hadn’t found the right inspiration to do Ella and Violet’s 3-year photoshoot. One day, I stumbled across an image of another little girl dressed in old-fashioned clothing, and it clicked. I wanted to dress the twins up like American Girls (I only have a small obsession) and take them out to the forest! That night I went to Once Upon a Child (a used clothing store for children) and totally lucked out by finding these adorable dresses and jackets. I am SO happy with how these photos turned out. I have so many favorites.

When I look back at 2020, I want to remember this photoshoot and how special it was to be with my family, even if we weren’t out doing things, we still found ways to have little adventures.

I can’t believe how much these girls are growing up! I can’t wait to see what is in store for them next.
