It was one of my greatest joys in life to get asked to fly out to Eleuthera to photography the simple, beautiful wedding for my dear friends Kimy and David. I was a newlywed myself, and Adam even got to tag along for this whirlwind trip! I had been to Eleuthera once before and it is truly breathtaking. It is not a common tourist spot like other places in the Bahamas, so the beaches are not overrun with people. The cute little beach that Kimy and David’s ceremony was on was completely deserted except for our party. It was amazing!

The water is so blue in Eleuthera and the vegetation so lush! The day of the wedding was absolutely gorgeous! There were so many pictures to choose from, but I settled on these as my favorites. It was a whole wonderful day of celebrating David and Kimy and it couldn’t have been more perfect!

Those are just some of my favorite photos, but David put together this beautiful video that features a lot more and really captures the whole day of celebration.

After the day of wedding celebrations, we went out to the dock to try some night photography. I had given it only two practice tries, before trying it with Kimy and David. I really love the result! Without a bunch of city lights, the stars were so visible. These pictures are some of my favorite from the whole day.

This trip was a fun little adventure – only 2 months after our own wedding! It was such an honor to be asked to take Kimy and David’s wedding photos. I am so grateful I got to be a part of their wedding in this special way.
